Description of 1975 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Super Beetle Convertible

Up for auction is a beautiful 1975 VW Bug Convertible. This car is in very good overall condition and has less than 64k miles on it. The motor is completely stock including all the fuel injection components. See a video of the car running on youtube, ust search"1975 VW beetle convertible running". Recently it had a general tune-up and several of the original braided fuel and vacuum lines were replaced. The beetle runs and shifts well, he clutch feels good, nd the brakes are in good working order. It is an original yellow bug that had a repaint at some point in its life. The paint shines nice as you can see in the photos, nd it has a handful of small nicks and chips from normal use. There is no rust or rot on the body, ust a couple of small areas where the paint has chipped & bubbled down on the corners by the rear fenders (see pics), nd down low in front beneath the edge of the trunk lid. The frame, hock towers, nd floor pans are very solid on this car. Even the battery compartment is solid with just some surface rust. The car feels nice and tight and the doors close perfectly. The only small spots of rusts underneath were in the drivers front wheel well and the passenger rear wheel well, ut they were repaired. The spare tire well had two small quarter sized rust spots but were also repaired. The rear bumper is in good shape, he front has some pitting on the top surface. The tires are like new all around including a matching spare. The convertible top is great overall too, ith just a small crack near the edge above the drivers side door (see photo). The interior is original and in decent condition, ery good driver quality. The radio works however it does need a new antenna. The seats have a couple tears near the edges from normal wear, nd the dash has one short crack near the vin tag. Speaking of Vin tags... the dash, ear hump, nd front trunk compartment tags are all in place and match. I have the original manuals, ome original paperwork from the the dealer in 1975, nd some service records that go back to 1977! There is no title on classic cars in CT so the car comes with a bill of sale and the last registration, lus all the other records I have and service manuals too. I've had several beetles over the years, nd this is the nicest one by far that I have owned. The winner bidder will not be disappointed. Please I encourage serious buyers only to bid. If you have any questions you can email me, nd include your phone # if you would like me to give you a call as well. The buyer is responsible for shipping but email me and I might be able to assist. This classic car is sold as is with no warranty, lease don't hesitate to ask questions or see the vehicle in person if you are able. The reserve is confidential, ood luck!
