1967 Volkswagon Classic Deserter GT Dune Buggy with Top and Gull Wing Doors

This 1967 Volkswagen began its life as a Deserter Dune Buggy in 1970 with 27,267 miles on it. It was driven for several years putting another 6,392 miles on it as a dune buggy and then stored for many years. The engine is original and still runs strong. The body does need some TLC as there are scuff marks and scratches around the buggy. The body kit comes with the left and rightlower coversand the curved Deserter windshield, very rare and desirable item. Also included is the top with the gull wing doors. The interior of the top and doors is covered in purple shag. This VW is a 12 Volt system and comes with a radio and rear speakers. The gauges are the original 1967 gauges. Front and rear rims do not match and although the tires hold air they will need to be replaced. There are no seatbelts. This has been in our warehouse for 6 months and no fluid leaks. We do have the original title and bill of sale from 1970.
