Description of 1968 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

Listing this very solid Type 1, as a 1971 engine. Transmission has about 75K on it.
This was a father/son restoration completed in 2009; New exhaust & heater boxes; running boards, arburetor; clutch, ntire brake system except lines, uel tank, eadliner & all rust spots were welded up then. Put a $200 Maaco paint job on it with the expectation that he would hit something. He never did, o the paint's more protective than aesthetic. Heater channels are NOT rusted, on drove it through high school & part of college. Got him into a car with heat & A/C, o now this sits.
It needs to be driven and it needs a home. Solid & dependable. Everything works. Floors and heater channels are solid. Interior is perfect. Rubber floor mats, inyl/fabric uphostery.
Windowsill rubbers are going.
