Description of 1967 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Transporter |
|
I bought this VW Transporter in 2007 from Phoenix on eBay so I have owned it for 8 years. I included 1 picture the way I bought it - kinda cute, ut the body had dents and there was no clearcoat, and it was kind of busy - so I had all the body finished up and painted it Mercedes Quartz Silver. I drove it frequently when I lived back in Chicago, ut when I retired our here in Fallbrook, a, find I am just not driving it - so it's time to pass it on. Very drivable - Fantastic show car Everything runs great Yes - it does wheelies !!! If you want to see how cool these shorties are, o to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bp2zvhn_Tdk VIN # 267004683 Fresh 1914 cc VW motor Completely rebuilt motor in 2014 by B & R Buggies in Oceanside (an old VW Specialist) http://www.bandrbuggie.com/ Restored to spectacular condition - extensive and expensive triple chroming 4 feet taken out of the middle of the transporter New oak stake bed - new custom tonneau cover New door rubber - doors close tight - new rubber on all windows Painted Mercedes Quartz Silver Golden Oak and stainless steel stake bed New interior front panels, oor, eadliner, eats - all new Safari windows pop out front windows (highly desired option) Polished Porsche FUCHS wheels (they are all beautiful) 4-Speed standard transmission New tires - new brakes 1951 Barndoor dash - custom steering wheel Great motor - fresh built by the best - has a great crank and cam for cruising.
