93 VW cabby w/166k miles. $1000 obo w/ clean title 5 speed IL 1.8 ltr Karman editionThe good: power windows, uns great, tarts right up, onvertible top goes up and down effortlessly, as new battery, tarter, lternator, iming belt and has had all maintenance done personally and with care. Blows hot heat. Replaced rear drum brakes a year ago. The clutch still engages strongly for its age so im not sure if its been replaced or not. I've typically gotten about 31mpg on the highway. If a proper tune and rebuild were done, 've heard of these cars getting closer to 40mpg once rebuilt. I've used all Bosch parts.The bad: needs a tire and alignment (I think) for inspection. Pulls to right. Convertible top needs patched in the back. All around it needs some TLC, as heated seats but relay needs replaced. Cruise control needs vacuum hose, o a/c. Has leather interior but has wear and tears. Great project/restore car!
