This is a 1990 vanagon carat with approx 200000 miles, ut constantly worked on by VW mechanics, t is well maintained. It comes with the 90hp 4 speed manual transmission, ith power steering and a/c.
It has GO WESTY wheels and tires package. I believe they cost the previous owner about $2850. Tires are in awesome shape. It also has GO WESTY bright light package, e paid approx . $1000 for the upgrade.
The first owner was a older woman who was a triathlete and she slept in it during her training and races, he sold it to a older male friend who is also a triathlete and he used it for the same purposes I believe he owned it for 11 years, hich is why this vehicle is so clean. The title is clean no accidents.
3 months ago he showed the basic signs of leaking coolant and brought it to our shop and we purchased it from him because of the cost do the labor etc. We have put well over 25 hours in pulling the motor and transmission, eplacing all needed parts and going through the van. We stripped the motor completely except for the crank. There was "no play" at all. The heads were old and worn, o we installed brand new out of the box heads AMC brand. We are a VW shop and re It also has brand new stereo with blue tooth and usb aux. placed every part and spared no expense. This includes bore honing, ew rings, lugs, ires, tc... We spent thousands on parts, ew water pump, elts, hermostat housing, oses, ap and rotor, nbsp;including misc. bushing etc....
We are still working a couple small items but for now here is a link to the van. We need get close to what we are asking. I know it's a lot but the work we just did would cost a small fortune. This is a CA car so no rust etc.... The A/C blows really cold, e did a R134 conversion. It has a tow hitch and comes with bike rack for 2" receiver. I will take pictures of bike rack later. In one of the picture you will see a black thing which is the black leather bra, e took it off and put it in the van. It comes with all the headrests (some are laying on the ground in the van) and it comes with curtains. It has a power inventor.
BTW, t also comes with room rack system and two cargo carriers, f interested email me. The roof rack and cargo's lock. They are currently in our store room. It has a new stereo with aux, sb, tc...
