Description of 19660000 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

This is a vintage VW Beetle titled as a 1966. The chassis is a 1966 and the body is a 1968. The engine is a larger then stock 1600cc out of a 1972. This Bug is a blast to drive and will cruise at 70-75mph on the highway all day if you want it to. It gets smiles everywhere you go and you will get waves and thumbs up every time you take it out. I have had this almost 3 years but am now moving and need to get rid of some of my toys. The body is RUST FREE! There are a couple of surface spots where the paint has chipped off in the roof channels (see pictures) but this is just on the surface. No holes, o rot, o weak metal. This body is SOLID.
This is a perfect driver Beetle. Is it a matching numbers museum piece? No, ts a vehicle built to be fun to drive.
It's a 50 year old car so it is not perfect.
Its a vintage VW which means it drips a little oil, ts par for the course.
Known problems: Horn works when it wants to, asher fluid tank is not hooked up. Factory AM radio is not hooked up.
