1974 Volkswagen VW THING 181 no rust, low miles Classic!

Selling my 1974 VW "Thing". It has 68,200 original miles and is in great shape. Came out of the Oregon desert, ad one previous owner and no rust. Registered through June 2017. It has "Thing Shop" glass windows and door tops, ires are in excellent condition, tainless steel exhaust. Front seats aren't original but are comfortable and safe. Engine runs great, lectronic ignition, verything works--about the only thing I can say bad about the car (other than shabby paint job) is that sometimes when it is hot it has to crank about 10-15 seconds to start Always starts right up perfectly from cold though. Has a brand-new carburetor, think it may need an adjustment?

Fiberglass hardtop is not terrific, but looks alright and does its job of keeping the rain out. I do not have a soft top for the car.

If it does not sell for close to what I am asking, r some reasonable offer/ trade, I will keep this and have it painted back to its original color, nd pop a soft top on it and enjoy next year. I could use the money right now for my business, hich has been importing VW T25 'Doka' crew cab trucks, nd Volkswagon Tdi engine kits for Westfalia/Vanagon turbo diesel conversions. Was originally orange, ut does have a bad white paint job. Very hard to find in such solid condition, antastic classic car. No rust, verything works, ow original miles. Vin #1842467897. I can help arrange shipping if necessary.
