Description of 1966 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic |
Up for auction is a 1966 patina vw beetle that has been lifted 9" using all vw parts. The body was removed to install bodylift and to modify the suspension. The car runs and drives 55mph on the freeway without any issue (currently my daily driver) 30 miles round trip 5 days a week. All the electrical works, y far out of the 20+ beetles I have owned it is a very solid car! When removing the body I didnt break a single bolt! It really makes me want to hold onto it cause oh how solid it is. Yes the car has dents and the front apron is bent over towards the passenger side 1". But if you want to put a 1pc baja kit on it doesnt really matter does it? That is the only issue with the body. The heater system in the car is fully functional all ducting to the windshield is there. I have been driving it in 30 degree weather recently and the heater works great! I really dont want to sell this car but Im in a situation where I have no choice.
