Description of 1982 Volkswagen Rabbit GL |
| Hello everyone. here is my 1982 Volkswagen Rabbit Convertible. I bought this car many years ago as a project toy. Over the past 5 years I've rebuilt/replaced just about everything on the car. Factory color was bright yellow which is it's current color. I had the bucket seats rebuilt and recovered with a high quality tweed black material which matches close to the factory fabric. The Suspension has been rebuilt. I replaced the motor with a new High compression 2. 0 liter motor by Foreign Aid Albuquerque. NM. Due to the larger motor a larger custom built radiator was installed. NO RUST The Rabbit (aka THUMPER) runs great and is a total kick to drive. Selling to make room for a new project.
