Offered here is a very original black 1963 Volkswagen Beetle that has a Judson Supercharger. This car was found in a warehouse in Connecticut where it had been sitting since 1969. The Paint is 95% original and the upholstery is also mostly original. The odometer reads a little over 27,000 miles. The car was sold new at the 5th Avenue Volkswagen dealership in New York City as indicated by its original decklid decal and decal on the glovebox door. The The original owner installed the wide wheels and the supercharger sometime before storing the car away in 1969. I had the Judson rebuilt by George Folchi in New Milford Connecticut and I also went through the brakes, fuel system and checked everything in the front end. I also installed a stainless steel vintage speed performance exhaust, but the original muffler does come with the car and I also replaced all four tires. The car runs and drives great. The floors are perfect in this car which is amazing for an east coast bug. The only place this car has any rust is a small amount in the rear quarter panels, but overall the car is in fantastic original condition and really has great original patina. The supercharger really makes a big difference in power and sound compared to a stock vw. I run it with no hubcaps for the race ready look, but the original set of hubcaps are included.
