Description of 1968 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic |
1968 Volkswagen Bug Odometer reads 91,000 miles Car has collision damage at the left front (see pictures). Aside from this area, this bug is straight and has a decent interior. It has fresh fuel and fuel supply hoses from the fuel tank to the carburetor. The engine runs strong. It has no battery and the brake hydraulic system is dried out and does not work at present, so at a minimum the brake master cylinder and wheel cylinders will need to be overhauled or replaced should one desire to make this car operational. It has been stored in the shade in a dry inland California climate for the last 20 or so years. Aside from typical dings and scratches for a car this age and the left front section, it is a complete, and rust free car. Clean title, legal planned non operational status with California DMV. This car is sold as is. Please bear in mind that has been inoperational for a long time, so it is probable that it will need work other than what I’m sure of and is listed above. Aside from the collision damage repair needed, at a minimum, it will require a thorough safety inspection performed by a qualified mechanic to assure the car is safe and roadworthy.
