1967 Coupe Frame-Up Restoration

This Ghia has been completely stripped down, pan rebuilt, new front fenders, new rear body pan, all rust and damage removed, acid washed ready for assembly. Body completely sanded down, all remaining filler removed, R&F Autobody restored, no filler, heat and hammered to create totally straight perfect body. Contours perfect, whole car blocked, painted with original ’67 Castilian Yellow Pro-Spray single stage Urethane in and out, pan fully painted car undercoat. Every moving part replaced, all bearings, bushings, new front beam, transmission overhauled, all worn parts replaced, all new seals. New case, doghouse blower, forged balanced crank, Bug Pack Super Street Cylinders and Pistons, 1776cc, all parts balanced by Inland Aviation, dual Kadrons, Webco cam, and stock exhaust. New windshield and rear window, interior done using Wolfsburg West black kit. Modern radio, speedometer rebuilt set to “0”, now showing 25,860 miles. Driven down US 1 in Treffen 14. Best street driven late coupe, Ventura 2012. Has also won 1stplace in VW car show (2015) and 2 years in a row (2014 & 2015) won 1stplace in Bikes Blues and BBQ classic car show for import division. Since it has been used as a daily driver for the last 2 years it recently has a new clutch, spark plugs, break switches and the ignition rebuilt.
