Description of 1974 Volkswagen Thing Type 181

This is a real head turner. It is in good shape, the seats are faded along with the top and all are available still. It has a brand new fuel pump and carb on it. Probably needs brakes. It runs 55 no issues and I have never had it above that just driven local since I have had it. good rubber. The odometer does not work. My wife had to have this Thing and after a year has yet to drive it but enjoys riding in it. I require $500 via PayPal within 24 hours of winning and certified check for balance. Shipping or pick up is up to you. I am located in central Illinois. The dash is originally painted blue behind which I am told is a sign of being an original Acapulco.
