Description of 1970 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic |
I have been tinkering with this car for several years. I am traveling a lot and just do not have have the time and energy to finish it up. I am going to move it on for someone else to do the final steps and enjoy. This is a one-of-a-kind kit VW with the hard parts already done. You will only have a few things to do to make your own cool toy. If you like playing with old Bugs, this will be a blast and the most unique Bug on the road. What has already been done: -The motor is running, It has a new re-build with 0 miles on it - Full fiberglass kit installed front and back to look like a '36 Ford Coupe (Aprox $4000 Kit) - Custom rag top - Chopped windshield and doors to accommodate convertible top - New Carburetor - New cool Quad Exhaust - New distributor - New Starter - Floor boards have been replaced, and sealed - High back bucket seats - New custom Running boards - Body work has been done with yellow primer coat - ready to paint - I have a lot of parts for spares and install What has not been done: -Needs new steering wheel. (comes with an extra steering column) -Finish the dash work. -Go through the electrical. Most of it should function, but will need some work. -Install new pedal assembly. ( I have all the new pedals, you just need to install) -Connect pedals. I was driving the car before the rebuild, so I know the transmission and drive train and brakes work well. The clutch was replaced with the engine rebuild. It has always been in the garage. I really do not want to give up on the Bug, but just really have to. I am pricing it well below what I have invested. |
