1959 VW Beetle Convertible This car was built by my father- in- law around 2003, it was taken all the way down to the floor pans. Anything that needed to be replaced was replaced. This is not the original motor (see picture for engine #), mileage is unknown. We have owned the car since 2006. I have change the car from 6 volt to 12 volt, and I still have all the 6 volt parts that came off the car, that was done in 2009. new carburetor in 2010. New convertible top boot new in 2014. The car has always been kept inside the garage or in my shop, the paint is still really nice, I would give it an easy 8 out of 10, the interior is white with red piping, black carpet and it is a good 7 out of 10. The car only gets driven about 3 or 4 times a year for maybe a 100 miles. There are 2 small dents on the car, one is between the engine cover and the convertible top, the dent is about the size as the end of a pencil and about a 1/8 of an inch deep. The second is below the passenger rear window about 3 " around and about 1/8 inch deep. I tried to get pictures of the dents but they are hard to see. This car has a clean Florida title in my wife's name so there is no problem there. The car is in the garage now and we will keep it there, till the new owner can arrange for shipment or pick-up. Will help with loading or pickup. I have set a reserve on the car. If you have any questions, please ask.
