Just shift the gear lever to gear selected.Torque convertor and auto clutch shift thetransmission into gear. No grinding of gears as with the manual shift transmission if you don't press clutch correctly.Volkswagen offered this option from 1968 until Beetle discontinued in U.S. in 1979. Optional items include luggage rack, pop out rear windows, stone guards, white leatherette upholstery. Original owners manual, factory workshop manual, original tool kit, jack, spare wheel included. Complete brake rebuild with shoes, master cylinder, brake lines, wheel cylinders, reservoir done. Engine oil change, valve adjustment, timing, carb adjustment done and new distributor installed. Many spare parts including a transmission, new ball and tie rod endsincluded. Body work very good with no rust outs, dents, or damage. Battery box area repaired.
