1985 Volkswagen Vanagon GL Westfalia - Remodeled

Up for sale is our beloved vw van. This thing drives like a dream and is in excellent shape. My wife and I just drove it from Michigan (where we moved from) to Colorado with zero issues whatsoever. We were also able to go 60-70mph the whole way. Mechanically, this one is as sound as they come. My family owns a car dealership and I had the guys at our shop go through it from top to bottom a few months ago. We're sad to see her go, but we just bought a house and could use the extra cash.

There's been so much done to this van over the past few years, including:

- new brakes, lines and rotors

- new wheel bearings and tires

- new clutch and shift kit

- a new battery and wiring

- completely custom interior

- new sink and water tank

- tons of storage throughout

- mirror that opens to a closet

- new laminate wood flooring

- new canvas for pop up

- new skylight in pop up

- pioneer speakers in back

- new foam for bed

- new microwave

I will also include a collection of brand new parts purchased directly from gowesty.com that I never ended up using. These include: a clutch slave cylinder, two wheel cylinders, a shifter fix kit, and a brake shoe kit. There are also a couple features I forgot to take photos of: the two bucket seats up front rotate to face the back and I have the original flip bed and foam for the pop up bed.

There may have been even more done than this, but we don't want to say it if we don't know for sure. The previous owner told us he had the head gasket redone as well. We have all the original manuals, several receipts from work that's been done, and a vehicle history report to go with it. The only real negatives are a little bit of surface rust (cosmetic) and the water/power need to be finished off.
