This is a great driver, does 60 MPH down the highway no problem, and turns heads all day. Car was built 4 years ago in Colorodo, sold to someone in Arizona, and i shipped it to New jersey exactly 1 year ago. I drove it 3-4 days a week last year, and let it sit over the winter- always on a trickle charger, and would start weekly. Pan is an original not welded pan but NOT original to this car. Link pin front beam 6" narrowed with adjusters and 2.5" lowered spindles, new brake shoes, brake lines and wheel cylinders. New master cylinder, new door seals, pop rear windows, interior is tmi door cards, carpet is CIP1, radio block off plate, brand new battery, new accelerator cable, new passenger heater channel. engine is 1600 dual port 1:25.1 rockers, dual Kadron crbs, 009 distributer w compu-fire electronic module, new ignition switch, new starter. wheels are empi 4.5 and 6.5 125 15 front, 165 15 rear. 12v converted. NEW battery and new accelerator cable (may need adjusting after carbs) PLEASE SEE VIDS FOR ISSUES. I SHOW STARTING AT A COLD START, 4th GEAR POPPING OUT, running, driving and a walk around. the bad-dents, scratches bruises etctranny is a freeway flyer, pops out in 4th. usually i just hold my hand on the shifter. carbs should be cleaned/rebuilt or replaced- at a cold start it needs to crank for about 10 seconds before it turns over, also a bit laggy when you slam the peddle.needs front tires YOUTUBE- search SEAN MCGINLEY VW you will see 4 or 5 videos.
