Classic 1970 Volkswagen Beetle

Very Nice 1970 VW Beetle Type-1 older body off restoration. This is aclean daily driver, notflawless but averynice car, no short cuts on essentials, paint or metal work. Updated engine, electrics, alternator, four-wheel disc brakes, Empi Alloys, Michelin Pilot 195-65R-15 tires, stainless steel heater boxes, aluminum running boards, Door locks and ignition are newly re-keyed to match, door locks stick but should be replaced. Horn worksintermittingly The Beetle has a fresh oil change, fan belt replacement,and New York State INSP. Starts immediately without hesitation and runs flawlessly. Part of the earlier restoration also incudes a fully insulated floor pan and undercoated exterior. Upgrades and other considerations may include but not necessary, replacing oatmeal carpet with black, replace burlap tweedheadliner with off-white,install newinterior door window scrapers and paint engine tin black.

The Beetleis very special,purchased for my wife'scurrent 70th birthday but cannot drive do to a recentstroke. Spent an exhaustingyear lookingmore than30+ Beetlesinthe northeast, had to be a 1970, and had to be RED, this was the one !
