Lets start by acknowledging that this is a 1950 body sitting on a 1967 ball joint pan. The Identification number on the title matches the pan and has a clear Ohio title as a 1950 Volkswagen Beetle. This is a custom build starting with the ball joint suspension which has been modified to be fully adjustable. This allows the vehicle to have multiple looks by simply raising or lowering the suspension and changing wheels and tires. The vehicle currently is just one click lower than a 1950 beetle would have originally been. With minimal effort this car can be back to original height or, on the ground with a set of custom wheels to create that California low rider look. The pan is painted underneath as is the front beam with matching blue paint, and is in good condition. The body is in great shape sporting two tone paint. This car has some great features such as a W deck lid with popes nose light and heart tail lights. The real show stoppers are of course the semaphores. They both work and have an original switch in the center of the dash. The Interior is all hand sewn in a period correct look. The carpets are all new throughout, as well as the front and rear door panels. The drive train has been gone through and a fresh 1600cc engine was installed. The transmission shifts as it should in all gears. The brakes are all functioning properly so there isn't really any work that is needed to drive this car on the day it arrives at it's new home.note: This is an older build but the paint is still in great condition. I drive this car on the road and freeways, so there are tiny flaws from rocks or whatever. It is not perfect but it was only entered into one car show this year and of course it won. This is a car you can store in the garage and take out on weekends or drive everyday.I will provide specific pictures of items if so requested. if you have questions please ask.
