Description of 1985 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon

This bus is in decent condition for its age,
Starts right up and runs / drives / steers well.
GEX rebuilt Waterboxer @ 186400. Odometer/speedometer cable broke @ 208059 about 1500 miles put on since then (1 trip to Eustis & 1 trip to the Forks worth of miles). We have not used the bus since 2014. It has been run and driven on local roads periodically since then and always kept in the garage. She is just not a priority in our life right now. This bus was cared for by several owners and has a log book for most repairs and additions. Too Many Things to List
Known mechanical issues:
Odometer cable plastic bezel broken. Odometer/speedometer does not currently work.
Overheats sometimes...we have extensive receipts for trouble shooting and work done on the cooling system since we purchased the vehicle in 2006. Nothing has worked to resolve this issue. It has never left us stranded however you need to occasionally pull over and "burp" the system.
Interior Temperature slider arm not functioning properly.
E-Brake sensor is wonky.
Kitchen Stuff
Latch for refrigerator door is broken. We use a tent stake to operate that latch works fine. We used the refrigerator once. Didn't seem practical. Would rather use a cooler. Refrigerator was only used as a mouse proof storage cabinet. Several cabinets have hardware cloth inserts that cover cable holes to prevent entry from mice.
Stove worked, until we ran out of propane. Not sure if you can still get propane with original gas hookup (we never tried).
Sink worked, pump was replaced but stopped working again.
The water tank has always been kept meticulously clean. Same with cabinet interiors.
Interior other
Drivers seat upholstery starting to get holes. All other is good.
Bedroom closet is cedar lined (keeps mice away).
Floor was hardwood parquet, but years of driving around with a dog water bowl spilling has damaged that floor. All flooring carpets are in good shape.
All windows have curtains in good shape, windshield cover elasticity gone but still works ok. Back insect screen in tact. Popup canopy works, screen has a few holes. I would consider replacing soon...mostly because of the screen. Newer screens keep out noseeums....these don't.
Slider door interior panel. Clips were broken, replaced several but still would not hold. Resorted to colorful duct tape to hold this on.
Electrical system:
One of the owners installed an energy conserving circuit system with second battery and inverter. You can control all auxiliary power items from a series of switches to ensure minimal power usage (it's pretty clever).
Kenwood KDC-MP32U, 1000 W Amp, Infinity Kapa Series 6x9's (R) & 6" (F). Stereo works but display doesn't. Kenwood's Removable face plate design seems to be prone to this. We have other decks that this has happened to. Mildly annoying.
Headlights, one of the owners changed the headlight/bumper/grill configuration. One headlight has always had water in it. All the exterior lights work.
Bedroom light bulbs are no good and cover comes off frequently.
Body/Glass
One of the owners changed the headlight/bumper/grill configuration see pics.
Rust starting on some panel seams see pics.
Glass is good, small rust bubble starting on bezel for back window.
One hub cap has retaining ring broken. Still have the cap. Clever person could fix with wire.
Accessories:
Has roof rack with boat loader telescoping arm (as shown).
Trailer hitch for accessories (no lights)
Trailer hitch bike rack (as shown in first photo).
Bikes & Boats not included.
