In 1971, to help compete against more technologically advanced models from other manufacturers, and also to give the Convertible Beetles a better-riding platform to use, the Super Beetle was introduced. It did not replace the standard Beetle, and both models were sold side-by-side. These new Super Beetles came with several new upgrades including; a MacPherson strut front suspension, new tie rods, new steering damper, a new steering box, the front brakes were enlarged, and even the hood was elon...gated. This particular Super Beetle that we have for sale today is an extremely nice example. The car has a beautiful silver metallic paint finish, the chrome bumpers are original, the floor pans and tie rod ends are new, and of course, the car is fuel injected! This is a very pleasant driving car that is ready to enjoy! For more information or to make an offer, give Dan a call at 863-370-6712
