Description of 1965 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic 2 Door Coupe |
After reading the entire ad, if you have any questions call Ken direct at 610-509-0631 1965 Volkswagen Beetle Bug Turn Key Drive Anywhere! For your consideration is an original classic icon, our 1965 Volkswagen Bug/Beetle. Equipped how you would want with an upgraded 4cyl 1850CC Engine with a 2 bbl Carburetor out of a newer beetle, not sure of the year. Also sports a 4 speed manual transmission that shifts as it should. This super fun cruiser gets over 40 mpg!! The paint is Red, and as you can see in the photos, shines brilliantly at any angle with much depth and gloss even with the Paint job around 10 years old!! Please note in the pics of the hood that the paint has lifted in the center, appears from too much paint when the car was done. I was going to have the hood redone, but just never got around to it. There is also a small chip on the roof, which could be spot in with the right painter. Undercarriage is clean with no major rust or holes. Frame is clean and straight. Car rides, drives, and handles exceptionally well for what it is. straight down the road with no shimmies, shakes, or vibrations. Extremely tight and surprisingly easy to drive for what it is. I would not hesitate to get behind the wheel of this car with my family and drive it anywhere! She cruises at 60 MPH like a new car. A person of any size or age could drive this vehicle comfortably. All of the lights, turn signals, brakes, gauges, are functioning properly. Engine fires right up with no smoking, ticking, noises, etc. Has a fantastic VW sound with Dual Exhaust. Car is turnkey and ready to drive anywhere. The light Grey Interior is finished nicely with newly covered bucket seats, Carpet, door panels, & Headliner. Just a nice driver quality car that can be driven for years the way it is, or touch up the paint in a couple spots, and turn this Bug into a high end classic!! Overall, this Volkswagen is a great opportunity to get behind the wheel of a new classic hot rod at a fraction of the cost as other Antique Cars. Whether you are looking for an everyday driver, something to take to car shows or cruise nights, turn heads driving through town, or just to drive to church on Sundays, this American Classic can do it all.
