Up for auction is an 85 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia Camper with 164,000 miles. It was imported from Europe by a couple which my dad bought it from them. It has the potential to be a great project with minor issues. Car starts up and runs great with no mechanical problems whatsoever, however, I'd give it a good checkbefore any long drives due to its age. And has all the original booklets, tables, and curtains associated with it. The interior is in absolutely fantastic condition. All the trim is there and in excellent condition, if I say so. Stove looks brand new and has the fridge. The exterior is where the issues arise.1) needs new tires2) has a minor dent/ bumper damage in the rear passenger side as shown in the pictures3) top is in ok condition. The rear of it has a section that has rotten due to it being left out in the sun ( pictures), however, a patch can easily fix it. Moreover, on the driver's side, there's an area where it has some white paint on it (photos).4) unfortunately one of the windows on the driver's sides cracked due to a rock possible about two days ago. (picture)5)the undercarriage has minor surface rust(can send pictures) and seem solid to my knowledge6) and little things here and there. paint has seen better days.wheels are Shelby Need to sell as I need money for college. we know at one pointtransmission was rebuilt, but my dad forgotwhen. It contains all the curtains also. it has the cushionfor the enginecover and has the second bed on top. It has just been sitting around the last few years, except on Thursdayswhen the car is started and moved for sweeper day lol. the battery is charged when needed and registration is good for a year.I try to provide as much detail as I can and pictures but if you have any other questions or requestions just send me a msg or text me at 714 631 4192.
