Description of 1974 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Sunbug

This is a limited edition 1974 Sunbug. It is an original New Mexico car and has no rust.
I have replace virtually all the rubber, and replaced the carpets. The gas lines are new, as is the windshield. The rest is original. The paint appears to have been a respray, but I do not know when.

When I got the car, the odometer said about 35,000 miles and the seller told me that was accurate. However, I had to have the speedometer rebuilt and it now shows just a few miles. The engine runs like a top and does not appear to burn oil. All the instruments work.

The base model is a Super Beetle and it has a 1600cc engine. The tires are good and it runs great. I have clear title. $6,500 OBO.
