1974 Volkswagen Beetle Classic Limited Edition Sun Bug 111 Barn Find NO RESERVE

Original 1974 Volkswagen Limited Edition Sun Bug 111. Standard body, flat windshield, sun roof. Model 1151. 4-Speed manual transmission.

When I got this car, it had already been disassembled as it currently is. It has been in my pole barn now for 23 years. I realized I will not get around to working on it, so now it’s time for someone else to own it. I had it running when I got it, and I have confirmed that it still manually can be turned over now. It will need a lot of work, but would be a worthy project.

Please look closely at all the photos. Photos show all the parts that come with it. It is mostly complete. However, I believe seats, radio, and windshield are missing; other parts may be as well. Has floor rot. My understanding is that the front torsion axle needs to be replaced. Includes original bill of sale, window tag, manuals, and a bunch of receipts from original owner, confirming its identity as a Sun Bug. Was originally purchased in Florida. Has clear Wisconsin title, exempt from mileage. Odometer states 18,764 Miles, but based on receipts, it appears that it may have stopped working in the fall of 1976.
