Description of 1974 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Super Beetle |
1974 Volkswagen Super Beetle 2276 dual Weber carbs italian-made webers. Freeway Flyer transmission, upgraded axles, sway bar, about 10k invested just in mechanicals from last owner, electric fuel pump etc, car runs needs wires, misses on right side while running I know I got zapped pretty good by it, lol. I reinstalled carbs when I got it and it runs strong, no smoking, comes with extra race exhaust, rust in normal places but less than usual for these cars. One year only car and with drive train upgrades a real hot rod 170hp motor. Probably 140hp to ground. Car has ability to run in 13s. Was rat rod style from last owner, so other than getting it running I've touched nothing else. Moving to California I'll find another when out there...best offers message me. Basically selling power train separate from car or as whole. Left power train in car so it stays protected as motor alone was $3500 and could be a CW performance motor as car was set up for last owner as he didn't do the work a vw performance shop did. Once sold, next owner can run it and it did drive but brakes are weak and drum all around with lowering struts. Clutch and gas pedal cables disconnected by last owner for security. Straight forward deal, as is one year only car 1974 Super Beetle with go fast goodies. i have an old battery i can toss in so it will run on pick up. Original color is red. Thank you and good luck bidding :) IF you purchase and dont want the car i could always remove power train and parts and you could pick up if car isnt needed, or restore whole car, or part it.i reserve the right to end auction at anytime, |
