Description of 1965 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon

This is a 1965 VW Kombi. It was turned into a camper similar to a Westfalia by EZ Camper of America of California when new. It still has the camper plate and California mobile home plate.
This is a solid project Bus. Yes, it has a lot of rust but it is solid where is counts and could be turned into your dream Bus with a bit of work. First the good...The roof is darned near perfect with no dents or rust thru. The rain gutters are in very good condition. The nose itself is very solid and NOT full of bondo like most Buses that need restoration. The underneath is prettty crusty but the frame rails look solid with lots of surface rust but I don't see any rust thru. It needs the lower sheet metal on the sides and also the supporting outriggers that connect to the outer frame. It would need floor pan repair and replacement. All the needed sheet metal parts are available from several VW parts providers. This Bus has the cool camper windows. The passenger side rear window was welded over but can easily be redone. There is no interior or seats-it's a blank slate for your custom interior. It still has the original transaxle. There is no engine.
This car has a current 2018 Georgia registration. This document acts as a title for this year car in the state of Georgia and it is good for states that require titles and also good for export to any country
