Description of 1969 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia

this is a great daily driver car runs and shifts great and looks good. the car has been updated to 12 volt system im guessing because the a/c and the great stereo system. i drove for a couple days and handles well and seems everything works. sorry blinkers dont work.
this has factory a/c system( but a pulley is missing so not sure works, clutch turns and owner said worked).the stereo system awesome alpine system and a kenwood 80000 with infinity speakers.
My problem is i bought to restore for a customer but i feel it has to much rust. im a mechanic and not a body guy. my body shop i use feels different he feels doing the body work and fixing the metal will make it worth a lot more moneybut me and my customer feel it will take to long. plus i hate to tear up such a good running car.so my lose your gain. if you want to drive just drive, restoration seems like a lot of work unless this is what you do.
