This is a great little VW Beetle. It is a 2 owner car. The original owner was from Idaho and obviously kept very good care of the car. The current owner purchased it 4 years ago.
Approximately 3 months ago, the current owner had all bushings replaced as well as the solenoid and a complete tune up was done.
The paint is in very good condition. We are not sure when it was painted, but obviously the car underwent a restoration at some point.
Enjoy the video of this 1966 VW Beetle here.just click on the above sentence to view the video The interior is very nice. The salmon and cream looks great with the black body.
There are some chrome accents on the dash to give it a little custom look.
The 40,050 miles are said to be original.
The vin number on these older VWs is under the back seat. This one is clearly stamped into the body on the transmission tunnel.
The trunk is in excellent condition. It is very solid with no rust at all.
The 1300 cc engine runs great. There are no leaks and the car starts every time.
The engine compartment is solid with no signs of rust.
The undercarriage looks really good. There is a tiny bit of surface rust under the running boards, but that's the only place we found any.
If you are looking for a great classic VW Beetle, this is the perfect one. These littlebeetlesare easy to drive and easy to learn on if you have never driven a stick.
The hub caps were all replaced 3 years ago.
This is one of the few flaws we found. It looks like the windshield washer sprayer was loose and someone tried to repair it and damaged the paint around it. It has been touched up in the past, but needs to be done over at some point. This certainly does not take away from this great Beetle.
This is your opportunity to own a great little VW Beetle. Drive her anywhere and she'll turn heads.
