This is a late 1960 built 1961 sealing wax red High Hinge Double Cab. This has been gone through quite a bit with many brand new items. It was painted on the outside 20 years ago, but the inside is original paint. New interior panels by Clara, rebuilt steering box from Wolfgang, all new tie rods and ends, new drag link, new wide 5 CSP disc brakes, new original style seat covers, steering wheel restored by Koch's, new door seals, rebuilt big nut transmission with no miles yet, 12 volt conversion done the right way with a restored wiper motor from Don West, 90mm 12 volt generator from Rick Clark, rebuilt stale air big bore with less than 100 miles, restored 40hp fuel pump from Ed Fall, 019 distributor, 12 volt starter with a 6 volt gear, bus flywheel with 12 volt clutch/6 volt ring gear, correct 6.40/15 Firestone bias ply tires, silver white powder coated wheels, silver white painted bumpers and emblem, and many other things. The bus isn't 100% flawless, but it's a beautiful bus that has been done right!
