Description of 1962 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon

Up for sale is a great project bus with a clean title in previous owners name.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PRICE DROP IS DUE TO NOTICING NOW THAT THE ROOF OF THE BUS HAS HAD SOME REPAIRS DONE ON THE DRIVERS SIDE. A WELD LINE IS VISIBLE AND FOR THE SAKE OF FAIRNESS I AM DROPPING THE PRICE. THE PREVIOUS OWNER OWNED THE BUS SINCE 1972. HE HAS PASSED AWAY SO I DO NOT KNOW THE HISTORY BEHIND IT. I WILL SAY THOUGH THAT THE BUS IS WHAT IT IS. I HAVE TAKEN THE TIME TO PHOTOGRAPH THE BUS TO SHOW BOTH ITS STRONG AND WEAK POINTS. THE BUS IS SOLD AS IS AND I WILL AGAIN PROVIDE AS MANY PHOTOS AS NECESSARY TO POTENTIAL BUYERS.

* Interior is complete*Wooden shelving all in tact and in fair to good condition*Floors are very respectable and in good shape but some patches will need to be made in a couple of spots. (But by no means is the floor falling out of it. Completely safe to walk and jump around on)
*front pans have had some patchwork done and are not an immediate need to replace but it wuld need to be done before too long.
*Metal luggage area has some significant rust.
I would say this bus has had some repairs made to it in the past. The driver side door area has some welds on the cab. It appears the front nose may have been changed out at some point to make it look like a pre 61 but i cant honestly say for sure because i cant find any noticeable cuts or welds that directly point to a nose or cab change.
Frame is very solid, the bus rolls easily.
All the glass is in good shape.
Some additional rot in the usual places as shown in the photos. But the wheel wells and metal under the seats is very solid. Main area of concern is where the double doors are. But even that area is not a hell hole.
Complete engine currently mounted and is a 3744717 which I believe dates to a pre 1960 engine. Will need a rebuild im sure.
