1984 VW Rabbit/Golf MK1, 1.6 Diesel. Overall the car is in decent shapeSee pictures of body, interior etc. It has original factory VW Radio & A/C.I might be able to locate 2 more original VW alloys for the vehicle, currentlyfitted with steel wheels in the front. A picture of the undercarriage is shown tobe free of rust.Had new fuel pump/water pump & timing belt installed, .Vehicle cranks and starts butwater comes out of expansion tank. Had the mechanic look at it, he reckons that the motormight need a new head gasket, although the motor oil does not have any trace of coolant/water contamination& has quoted $150 for parts & about $200-250 on labor. However, mechanic has constantly delayedin attempting to get it running as he is busy with 'bigger jobs', & my boss is bugging me to removethe vehicle parked at my work place, hence it is up for sale! Needs headliner/ batterySelling it with a very low reserve but come on, if you are a loverof VW's than try not to low ball me,as I am sure you would want a reasonable price when you sell your VW!More picscan be provided upon request. Front windscreen has some chips/cracks but no leaks.Doors close with a very nice thud.Feel free to requestmore information.
*** I have been told by the previous owner that the actual driven mileage is about 50K+, this couple had thisvehicle attached to their trailer & used it wherever they were camping.
