Description of 1991 Volkswagen Jetta GLI 16v

Lowered Reserve. 1991 Volkswagen Jetta GLI 2.0 16V with almost perfect RECARO's and 15" BBS Rims in perfect condition.Condition is Used and 100% stock. Arizona Car that I found and brought to NC this year. I was looking for Scirocco 16V and came across this to hold me over until I found what I wanted. Well I have and now this needs to move on. Story on this one was back when this car had minor incident. The insurance company paid it off but when it was over the lady / owner liked the car so much she bought it back from the Insurance company and had it repaired. The repair wasn't much but the value of the car to the insurance company wasn't very much being a 16 year old VW Jetta. Hence the branded title. Last owner bought from her and I got from them. This is what I was told. When I found this car I was shocked at how original it is. It has never been modified or cut into. Still has original Heidelberg radio. And yes I have the safe mode code to activate it if it ever comes up. The car has spent most of its life on AZ so there is no rust or rust bubbles anywhere. There was a paint job done sometime ago and it was pretty good. Probably when car was bought back from insurance co. The AZ sun has faded the clear on the roof a little and a little on the back trunk edge. See pics. It drives great. Almost brand new tire. It starts right up even after sitting for a few weeks in the garage. Yes this is in a garage and my $70k ram sits in the driveway. Go figure. It does not leak or leave any marks on my garage floor. There is no smoke of any kind on start up or while driving. Has original key fob. It in typical older VW fashion has a sloppy gear shifter. 5th gear is hard to find sometimes but I never use it as I just drive around town so it doesn't bother me if I can't find it. Clutch is strong and it will still chirp tires into 2nd gear if you want. Just an honest older VERY special 16V GLI Jetta. There are a couple windshield rock chips but no cracks. There are 2 couple smaller door dings that are hard to see but they are there. The sunroof still works perfectly with no leaks. Seats are in perfect RECARO condition with exception of one small spot on drivers seat. Very Small at that. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me anytime. I will try to answer asap. I have had the car most of this year and the only thing I have done to it was put a new cap and rotor on it to make it run a little smoother. I drive it every weekend if not every other. It's a blast to drive. I have videos of it driving and running and can text them to anyone that wants to see. Just trying to be as descriptive and open about the car as possible. It is getting hard to find these still stock and I want the new owner to be happy and pleased. Is it a show car, maybe with little detail work. is it a fun driver with no issues. Hell yes it is. Will it get looks? Yes it does. People love this red Jetta for some reason. I get comments all the time and thumbs up all the time when I winding it out through the gears. True VW guys like me know what this is and what fun it is!! O yea, The AC blows cold. The blower makes little noise from time to time. Think something in the duct possibly. Also the windows are dark tint as it was an AZ car and it is the darker the better out there with the sun. The speedometer works but the odometer does not. To answer questions already. Yes I have been over the car. There is no evidence anywhere of any impacts or accidents that caused any damage. The bottom of the car is rust free and damage free. Not sure what the original issue was back in 2007 but it probably wasn't much considering the value of this car then. Please email me for any extra pics. i also have short videos of me driving it and running through the gears.scirrocco, corrado, civic, r32, MK1, MK2, Mk3, rabbit, golf, GTI, 16 valve,
