StoryThis is a beautiful VW T2 bay window bus that had been preserved across decades. It has only had two owners since new and is accompanied by extensive service records and documentation dating back to 1984.
The bus is mechanically sound, the original aircooled 1800cc dual carb engine is strong, gears shift effortlessly, steering i s precise, and brakes straight. Recently it has been serviced, oil was changed, new front brake pads, new rear shoes, new filters, and new tires were installed.
The body and paint work is excellent, no rust present, all body panels are original and straight. The two tone paint is a great combination and is the correct color code for the vehicle. The 4 hub caps are present and not dented.
In the interior all the indicator and interior lights work properly. The original AM blaupunkt stereo works properly. The seats are in great shape, there is a small tear on the last bench but other than than very well preserved.
This is a true time capsule for those looking to remembrance the past.
