KdF-Car (reconstructed), completely restored like new. This car was also shown in the magazine VW-Classic 2/2018. The VIN was taken from a german "Kübelwagen" which has got a certificate from the Volkswagen museum in Wolfsburg. The body from this car was taken from a 1947 Brezel-Käfer. We modificated every part from the car to make it look like an original KdF-car. Original KdFs were build between July 1941 and May 1943 in a total amount of nearly 630 pieces. The price for an original car ist roundabout 330.000 $, if you get one. So this replica is a nice alternative to an original. The oldest existing document about this car/VIN is based on 1959 (see photos). |
