For sale is a Beautiful 1986 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Westfalia. This Westfalia is a from International Auto Service in Livermore CA built conversion, by well known German Mechanic Detlev Hanschke. This Camper is in very nice Exterior and Interior Condition for its age, with just over 100k on the chassy and a Fully Rebuilt 2.0l 4 cyl Engine Conversion with under 20 Miles on the Engine It drives very nice.It was used by the previous owner regularly and everything works. The sound of The 2.0l is nice and strong as the Interior and Exterior of the Westfalia is kept completely Original. - Engine Conversion from 2.1l Waterboxer to 2.0l 4 cyl. (ABA Engine)- Complete Stainless Steel Coolant Pipes w/complete Van Cafe silicone coolant hoses.- Complete Brake system Front & Back New- Complete front suspension done w/Bushings & Ball joints- steering rack boots new with rubbers- Complete Bilstein Shocks New This Sale is not intended for the state of California. In 2018 the engine change guidelines have changed and that only allows conversions from Car to Car or from Truck to Truck. The 2.0l ABA engine was a common engine for the South African Volkswagen but never Imported into the US. This vehicle did not receive the Engine conversion certificate which clears the Camper for California smog check. We are forced to sell this Camper anywhere outside of the state of California.
