Description of 1978 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon

This 1978 VW Westfalia has a clean California title in hand, runs and drives and due to the cosmetic flaws will be sold with "NO RESERVE" snd as a worthwhile restoration project.
This VW has been stored indoors since 2012, we put fresh fuel and a new battery and a few squirts of starting fluid and it started right up. Mechanically it will need a complete tune-up and fuel system cleaned. Once started it will continue to run/drive and start by itself. The engine sounds excellent and transmission shifts thru all gears smoothly, clutch feels good. Brakes are good and the Bridgestone tires have about 90% tread life.
Cosmetically, please view the pics, it does need the obvious body work on the nose and side but well worth the time to do! The top goes up and down smooth, I do see the seal around the base will need replaced and fabric in the front will need sewn back up (see pic). All glass is in good shape, clean and clear.
Interior is in very good shape as it has been stored indoors, there is no rot or sun fade.
This VW is stored in Moreno Valley California, 92551 near March Air Base.
