About this vehicleThis 1986 Volkswagen Jetta is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. Not far from Dayton Ohio. It’s a reliable daily driveable commuter with great MPG. ExteriorHas rust on the rockers and at base of the windshield. Been in Ohio since new. Strut towers are in good shape. Has plenty of dents and dings. InteriorTan interior is in nice shape, only notable issue is the rear end of the headliner fabric has been removed since it was sagging. The dashboard is nice with no cracks. It has the cassette holder in front of the shifter. Also equipped with a tachometer. Sunroof works and doesn’t appear to leak. Trunk leaks a little in heavy rain. Engine1.6 turbo Diesel engine with a 5 speed manual transmission. Completely stock turbo system, capable of getting over 50mpg on the highway. Clutch works well, engine starts and runs well, transmission shifts and operates well. Power steering works. Air conditioning does not work, there is no Freon in the system.
