Description of 1966 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Beetle |
1966 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Beetle. Condition is Used. Dune Buggy Project Berry T full length dune buggy mounted on 1966 beetle frame in good condition for its age. This frame has new pans welded in place. New brake lines as well. Swing axle trans, sprint star wheels, (tires are in poor shape and for moving purposes only). The body is in good shape with no major damage, it has a glass windshield and has a deck lid engine cover (which a lot of dune buggies do not have) it also has a new steering wheel. Body is currently only bolted down with 4 bolts. This is titled as 1966 beetle. There is a speedometer but no wiring, no lights, switches, no seats, gas tank, or shifter. There is no engine you’ll need your own beetle engine. This is a project that you finish yourself. Similar bodies sell for over $3000 new and some frames in this condition can be $1500 alone. I estimated the remainder of parts needed to complete the car can all be found here on eBay for under a thousand dollars. There is no warranty expressed or implied. This is an “as is saleâ€. Feel free to have vehicle inspected if you desire. Sale is final, no refunds or returns. Once the car is paid for in full and purchaser agrees to terms of this sale and is satisfied with the condition then the transaction can be completed. Full payment is due within 7 days after auction has ended. You must contact me within 2 days of auction end to arrange a pickup / payment in Arlington Heights, Illinois. You will need to bring a trailer. Please review the pictures and ask questions before bidding. Thank you and happy bidding! |
