1971 Volkswagen Super Beetle, This was my sister-in-law's car in high school, college and after she got married. She was the second owner, I'm the third and it's been parked in my garage for the last 23 years. This is a project car, it starts, drives, goes through all the gears and stops. The interior needs to be completely re-done, the car is 100% complete and comes with some spare parts including 8 stock wheel covers and a horn ring for the steering wheel. I have all the paperwork for the car when my father-in-law bought it including the original owner's manual. Unfortunately that got wet sometime during its life so portions are unreadable. When I first got the car I had the rust professionally taken care of as evidenced by the heater channels, the floor pans are solid. Also, it has an after market sunroof that was added in the 80's, sorry to all the purists out there. This was going to be my long term project car but life, kids, bills, their college all got in the way, now I just want more room in my garage. The engine has been started and run regularly during my ownership, I'd really like to see someone turn this diamond in the rough into the true gem it could be. This vehicle is also listed locally and I reserve the right to end the auction any time.
