1973 Volkswagen Westfalia Type 2 Van Brown RWD Automatic

Buyer is responsible for transportation/towing of the vechicle.

I have the title in hand, and will mail it out once the payment is cleared.

We are selling our 1973 Volkswagen Westfalia Type 2 Bus. It has the original 1700 engine with the rare automatic transmission. We took on this project to restore the body and interior but ran out of time and space so it is time to pass it on.

*DOES NOT RUN* Will need a trailer to move. Ran when parked.

We have most of the interior wood components but some of it is water damaged. We have the bench seat & sink

The bus ran and shifted very well when it was parked about 1 year ago. The brakes, suspension, and steering components have all been serviced and upgraded by a VW mechanic. The carburetor was also upgraded to an Italian Webber carb by the same VW mechanic before we purchased it. The body is in pretty rough shape as it was previously rolled over then bondo'ed extensively. It wouldn’t take too much work to get it running again, just needs the dash wired. I have all of the components from taking the dash wiring out minus the actual wire.

The frame is very solid although the jack points and some of the floor and body is rusted.
