1983 Volkswagen Vanagon Van Yellow RWD Automatic CAMPMOBILE

Excellent adventure vechicle. This 1983 Westfalia made a 5,000+ mile trip across america in 2008 without any significant brakdowns.

In the last five years it has had professional maintenance on the electic system and recived a new altenator. It is equiped with a second battery for powering the auxiliary systems.

New diamond audio speakers and stereo in 2007. Also in 2007 the camper top and all seals were replaced. No major mildew or mold. Has been stored covered and dry since 2009, with ocassional trips to keep it running.

New paint in 2006, original colors picked from 1983 VW swatches.

It will need a good once over and a good new set of hoses and belts, but otherwise very few projects standing between you and the road. The float in the gas tank has somehow disengaged, so the gas gage does not give an accurate reading, but that is the only known current issue.
