Vehicle Details

1967 Original Freedom Camper bus.This is a very solid original bus to cruise around in and go on camping adventures. The body is overall straight very dry California bus with no rust.The paint is mostly all original with some touch ups on drivers lower door and some right behind it on the long panel.The passenger rear corner looks like it had some paint on it at one time way back in the day.Looks very straight. The roof is arrow straight with a 2 fold ragtop added in at somepoint early in its life I would say when the camper kit got installed. From my understanding it's a Freedom camper it's mostly all there with a fold out bed that folds up over the engine bay.At some point there was a back seat but that's gone.You can design your own and have fun with it.The original side tent is a huge bonus when camping, it also has a Westfalia style roof rack for the right touch.The motor is a 1600sp runs good with the original transmission that shifts nice and tight no gears pop out.Brakes are all rebuilt. Tires are good.This is a fun 1967 first year for the 12 volt bus.
