One-of-a-Kind V8 Beetle Hot Rod Pickup | Show Winner | 5.3L LS | Custom Frame

This wild custom started life as a 1969 Volkswagen Beetle and has been transformed into a head-turning hot rod pickup.

Chopped, channeled, and powered by a 5.3L V8, it blends a Beetle body with a ’49 Chevy cab, a custom-built bed, and a fully hand-fabricated frame with integrated roll cage.

• 5.3L V8 with COMP Cams camshaft

• Holley Terminator X EFI

• TH350 transmission w/ manual valve body (you shift it manually)

• Runs strong, no leaks, and doesn’t overheat (runs 165-170 on cooler days and around 180 on hotter days)

• Super Bell drop axle up front with hairpin radius rods

• Four-link rear suspension with air bags (around 6" range of lift/drop)

• Bomber-style seats w/ racing harnesses
