1963 Volvo 544 Sport

After 3 weeks of promises Ebay member mrashed-il says that he cannot meet his obligation and complete this sale. There doesn't seem to be any penalty for this so I guess we just start over but lets be grownups about it and only bid if you are in a position to complete the sale. It would help if you were in the US but that is not a requirement but beaware that there is a 130% customs duty in Israel. Apparently a problem for the high bidder and no, will not fabricate documents for the purpose of reducing taxes. This is not an expensive car, axes should not be a problem, t least not here in the US.

This restored example spend its life in Texas and has neverseenrust. White with blue, he original color, t is a great driving car with everything working the way it should. Original Bendix am/ fm radio with Volvo on the face brings in stations clear and sends the sound to the optional factory rear speaker. The dash board tachometer is period correct and also from Volvo. This 4 speed shifts easily and the SU carbs have been recently rebuilt to provide a steady idle and the engine pulls strong to red line. Sharp eyed bidders will see the fully functioning engine shade with the correct chain. This year car was the first for the 12v electrical systems used to this day. Recent service include a new gas tank sender and new turn signal switch both wear items it seems and easily replaced. All four shocks have just been replaced as have all four flexible brake lines. The one modification from stock is a dual exhaust system from the resonator back. The two chrome tips out the back add a nice touch and gives the B18 engine a nice deep sound. The tires are only a few years old with less that 1000 miles on them. The original owner gave up the car in 2010 at age 82 and he did a great job taking care of this 544. Owners manual, ool kit, ack and spare are included. The Carello driving lights are included as seen on the front to give the car that Rally look but have not been wired up. Factory mud flaps really make this example complete.
