I purchased this '68 Volvo from an Oregon owner who kept it garaged and stored, oping to restore it. I had it shipped out on a flatbed truck and have used it several times a week in all weather conditions for the past five years. It was running beautifully until the differential broke. Now it can just drive straight in and out of the garage. The Oregon owner purchased it from the original owner, nd I have all work receipts since '68, ncluding some advertisements and original letters associated with the original sale. I do not know for certain if the engine is original. The speedometer turned over 400,000 about a month ago! This is an old car, nd though I carted around a baby in it and used it as a daily driver in Chicago winters, t often ends up in the shop for repairs and is no longer reliable enough for me. After the required differential/rear end repair is completed by the purchaser, his car probably should not be used as a daily driver.
