For sale is my 1966 Volvo Amazon 122S coupe. I am only the 3rd owner of this car, nd purchased in November 2013 as a classic car to tinker with, s I used to own and work on a 1988 Volvo 240 with the B230F engine and 5 speed manual from 2004-2008. The car runs well and drives, nd could certainly use a little work here and there - one of the reasons I bought it is it's so forgiving, urable, nd easy to work with. I have a hefty list of spare parts (see below) and as a CA car (with original black plates!) the frame and chassis are in great shape. Unfortunately my working hours are just far too long and I only have a few hours each month to devote to my baby. Ideally I could take it off the road for a few years and resume the restoration when work slows down, ut since I don't have a place to do so I can't justify the insurance/parking until then. It's a clean title Volvo, ith engine swapped to the larger displacement B20 (versus stock B18) a long time ago. Runs with dual carbs (air filters off for the picture) and aside from that no major modifications, hough ALL service intervals and major maintenance are documented - literally hundreds of pages of records. The two pictures of boxes are filled with trim, arts, nd paperwork. Mileage on the overall chassis is about 258k, nd of course major components (including the engine!) have been replaced and documented along the way. Mileage on the B20 is about half that, s the B18 was swapped at about 120k. It's a 5 digit xx,xxx odometer so exact mileage is hard to read, ut paper trails show the component replacements. Major spare/extra parts include:- Spare M40 transmission (current transmission works well but "grinds" a little)- Spare Steering rack (current works fine, ust a backup)- Spare Generator (current works fine, ut they "wear out" every 50k miles or so)- 2 Spare rims w/ mounted tires- Spare Brake Pads- Spare Brake Shoes- TONS of spare/replacement exterior trim pieces (chrome door trim, ide mirror, eadlight housing, enses, tc. etc.)- Gaskets- Fluids- ...and a lot LOT more (trim galore!) My plan would is to sell the car as is with accessories "bundled" for a set reserve. The previous owner who owned the car in El Cerrito, A for ~40 years collected spares and extras all over the place, nd if I sell them individually I'm sure they would fetch closer to $1,000 - but I'm happy for the convenience and to find a good home for everything.
