This is a 1962 Volvo PV544. This car has been on the road in operating condition since at least 1992. I have owned it for about 12 years. It is fun to drive as it is small, imble and lighter weight than most later Volvos. It is in mechanically good condition. It has had the S.U. carbs rebuilt by Rhys Kent of Island Automotion, ancouver Island, ritish Columbia. New clutch, F&S), ew brake shoes and rebuilt distributor by Phil Singher. All within the last 500 miles. I drove it in the 2005, PV weekend," in Bellingham, ashington. Driven modest distances every year since. Car is inside during bad weather months; driven occasionally, ut not for long distances in recent years. Car was originally black with red interior. When previous owner purchased it, t was being driven by a lady who had painted it blue. PO then painted it red. It would benefit from being returned to it'soriginalblack color. Pros: It presently has correct red seats. Starts and maintains 50 pounds oil pressure when hot. Higher when started. Good tires. Clean trunk. Comes with new correct headliner, et to be installed. Extra used back fender. Extra dash, yes, he full metal section, tc.). Extra grills. Extra bumper sections to provide a better looking bumper. Extra interior door panels, ed. Car is straight. Windshield new from Volvo dealer within the last 400 driven miles. Cons: if left sitting, eed to add brake fluid, o master cylinder will soon need rebuild. Needs door panel reinstalled after panel repair. Dash pad is bad and dash needs restoration. Windshield wipers do not work. I enjoy driving this car and have a greatpassionfor Volvos, ut I am no longer able to complete restoration. Sales to U.S. only; no overseas sales. Have no ability to ship. Must be picked up within 2 weeks of auction close. Can be driven, ut buyer may prefer to trailer for long distances. Will try to add more photos. Questions welcomed.
